Energy

Energy is the capacity to perform work or produce change in a system. It exists in various forms, including kinetic (energy of motion), potential (stored energy), thermal (heat energy), chemical (energy stored in bonds of molecules), electrical (energy from electric charges), and nuclear (energy stored in atomic nuclei). Energy can be transformed from one form to another but cannot be created or destroyed, a principle known as the law of conservation of energy. In physical systems, energy is often measured in joules or calories, and it plays a crucial role in all processes, from biological functions to mechanical operations and beyond. In broader contexts, energy also refers to the ability to function effectively and vigorously.
