AGI
AGI, or Artificial General Intelligence, refers to a type of artificial intelligence that possesses the ability to understand, learn, and apply intelligence across a wide variety of tasks, similar to that of a human being. Unlike narrow AI, which is designed to perform specific tasks (such as playing chess or recognizing speech), AGI is characterized by its general cognitive abilities, enabling it to reason, solve problems, and learn from experience in diverse, dynamic environments. The goal of developing AGI is to create machines that can perform any intellectual task that a human can do, demonstrating adaptable and flexible intelligence.
